ConGlobal Industries received the first batch of new Hyster empty container handlers into our depot equipment fleet. The Hyster handlers are a combination of 5-6 and 7-8 stack high handlers. Three handlers were received into our Houston, Los Angeles, and Seattle depots. The new handlers complement ConGlobal’s current fleet of 35 top picks, 29 blade lifts, and three loaded lifts.
The Hyster empty container handlers are part of ConGlobal’s ongoing multi-million dollar program to reinvest in equipment for our core business of depot operations. The equipment purchase program allows ConGlobal to continually maintain and upgrade our container handling fleet. The purchase also keeps us in compliance with the new, more stringent engine emission requirements in California.
ConGlobal customers will benefit from less out-of-service downtime and greater service reliability from the new handlers. Additionally, ConGlobal employees will benefit from the new container handlers by having the latest safety features and state of the art engine, mast, and transmission components.
